Let me introduce myself...

Hi, I'm Charlie. I'm 34, mum to four tiny dogs and two tortie cats (yes the house is chaos... but the best kind).

I'm also a huge psychology geek - I've got a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and counselling, and since then I've collected diplomas like Pokémon cards. I love learning.

I live with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). In simple terms: my body doesn't make connective tissue properly- the "glue" that holds joints, organs and skin together. It means my joints move too much, I'm in pain a lot, and organs don't always behave the way they should. (@invisiblezebrax for more info.) Plus many other conditions thanks to EDS. Eventually I got too poorly to work a "normal" job and was let go when no more adjustments could be made.

That's when I thought I had found a "work from home career" but it turned out to be a travel MLM scam, which I now raise awareness of on YouTube and TikTok (@__dearsociety). I felt lost, stuck and like I had been taken advantage of.

Crafting became my escape, my safe space, my therapy. Every vegan melt and candle I pour is made with love, free from toxins, and safe for sensitive homes (including my own).

I am working hard behind the scenes, whilst battling a kidney infection that won't shift, on the relaunch. I am so excited to share with you what I have been working on.
